THE V&A
This piece was created during the opening week of the V&A Museum Dundee. The signatures were gathered from colleges and universities, and on the streets in Dundee. It contains around 3000 signatures, including the architect Kengo Kuma (left)
I chose to document the opening of the V&A Museum Dundee with the creation of this piece, which I decided not to ‘fix’and eight years later the pigments have faded and blended to become a very different image to the original. It serves to illustrate that these artworks are living pieces. The inks are constantly changing. As in life, nothing is static.
